NIKE KASIS, born in Austria, lives and works in Vienna, Berlin and Hawaii!
The works of Nike Kasis are created by drawing inspiration from a grand inner freedom, and a perception without prejudice or tenure.
She succeeds in her creations because of her special ability to perceive the diversity of perspectives and express them in multiple artistic ways.
The lively interest in all aspects of the creative approach is her incentive to periods abroad and study tours.
From the very beginning the experience of rich exchanges with different artists and mentors influenced and formed her interdisciplinary artistic expression.
1996 – 2001
These years are characterized by multiple study tours through Switzerland. The close interaction with architects intensifies her engagement with space.
“Art In Room” arises. „Creating your personal/own space with art in which you can breathe, feel secure, be happy and at ease. Home is a state of mind, a feeling, not just a place.“ (Nike Kasis) Thanks to the close cooperation with the musicians during this time awoke her passion for the piano playing. From this moment on the piano became an important element of Nike Kasis creative work. The love for the music opens up new dimensions of reflection and the project called “Color Composition” starts – the transformation of tones into color.
The phase of the engagement with the external space follows an intensive investigation of inner space. The cycle “Glory Day” arises.
Cycle “Glory Day“ – The history of Gloria D – the daughter that got lost and still is till this day. Dedicated to her are these pictures from the homeland named „Menschenland und Löwental” “While painting I followed her path, finally disclosing her secret…” (Nike Kasis) 2001
Opening of the art studio in Vienna – “Art At Work”. A place to meet, to create and to present! New creations arise and selected works, painted in the last phase, are published in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Art cards and calendars are laid out in store shelves.
2002
The project „Images Of Fortune“ arises.
During the presentation of 100+1 images of fortune, moderated by Mirjam Jessa and Otto Brusatti (ORF, Austrian Broadcasting), one of the guests was exited about the available variety of the displayed works. That triggered the motivation of Nike Kasis to cross over her limits again, involving the whole world into this project.

On this evening a vision of the 1000+1 Images Of Fortune occurs. A web of happiness will cover the whole world.
2003 – 2005

2005 – 2008
“art4room”/Eva Maria Graf - meets - “Art At Work”/Nike Kasis. This meeting initiated an extremely fruitful form of cooperation to bring more art into rooms in order to individualize them. A group of artists was formed to work out new concepts of room under the lead of “art4room Eva Maria Graf” and to dedicate itself artistically to this implementation. The joint presentations at home and abroad have been the result of their efforts. The periodically artist meetings at “art4room” intensify the interdisciplinary exchange.
2008
It is done! The web of happiness covers the entire world. Nike Kasis personally passed on image of fortune No. 1001 in El Gouna, Egypt. Since 2001 friends of the art have distributed 1000 oil paintings of Nike Kasis worldwide. Her lucky pictures can be found in:
London, Paris, Dublin, Munich, Brussels, Florence, Rome, Zurich, Milan, Salamanca, Stockholm, Istanbul, Marrakech, Tarifa, Hamburg, Sydney, Wellington, Cape Town, Montreal, Zagreb, Rome, Bucharest, Astana, Moscow, Beirut, Lagos, Boston, New York ... and in many other places.
2009 – 2010
Exhibitions of Nike Kasis paintings in hospitals, healing centers and maternity wards made them more and more popular with Feng shui experts and energetics. They attest the pictures a highly vibrating energy and a progressively positive effect on the room climate. Reference letters from these experts around the globe reach Nike Kasis, and from private individuals as well.
During this period the cycle “Glad Tidings” comes to the existence – good news: “The Arrival Of More Joyful Information”.

Study tours and artists meetings abroad characterize this year. Several month in Hawaii inspire Nike Kasis to start a new project called “Answers From The Sun”, it is a declaration of love to the sun, to the internal and external light, which is omnipresent.
